Long silence

This time of year supposed to be fun and happiness. Well, this is not really working. First, I lost my youtube account for some reason, so I am not able to access my videos anymore. I need to create another account to be able to post new songs… but meanwhile I am playing songs, and preparing for some new material. I think this’ll happen only in 2011.

New year new post. So I am wishing you a Merry Chrismtas and a Happy new year.

See you soon,

Cheers.

Hey there!

Sorry for not posting earlier but I was renovating our apartment. Complete wall, flooring, ceiling reconstruction done by my own hands… tough work. I was afraid of cutting my fingers, which happened, but fortunately the back side of my palm, so it doesn’t affect my ability to play.

Next song is going to be a Hungarian song! :) I am so happy to be able to play a local love song. This song is called : “Kell hogy várj” in English: “You need to be waiting” .

This song is about a couple getting ready to be apart for a longer period. I’ll try to translate the text and post it next time with the song video, so you’ll know what is this song all about.

So, thanks for watching, reading, I’ll be back soon.

Have a wonderful day :)

Hey there!

Finally I have managed to post my newest video here. This took quite a while, because of the summer holidays. I was not playing nor practicing with my guitar, so I really quickly got out of shape (not if I ever was in a shape :) ) ). But I started to play again two weeks ago, and it seems that I needed two weeks to get these three “very difficult” chords into my fingers :) )) G, C, D.

But here it is, please listen to it, as I was recording it with a lot of love and affection. I know the quality is pretty bad, but hopefully soon I will figure out what to do about it…

Thanks again, and here is the video, take care :)

Alex

Hi there!

I have a good and a bad news. Starting with the bad: As I was getting back on practicing Boys2 Men Water runs dry I realized that I would need more practice than I’ve expected.

The Good news is that I found 2 other songs of my favorites to play instead. This one is from American Idol. Adam Lambert was playing Smokey Robinson’s – Track of My Tears. I fell in love with this song immediately.

Here is Adam singing

The other is going to be Alice. – Who the ***ck is Alice? :) )

Going to get my self together and play it as soon as I can :) Take care, and have a nice day. :)

Alex

Thank God, my fingers got all right lately, so I am able to train my fingers again :) All I have noticed is that this Boys II Men song might be a little too much for me… :S But once I have promised something… :) )) So it is coming soon :)

Hi there,

I don’t do no homework anymore! Guess what happened! I was going to do the dishes the other day and accidentally I cut my pointing finger on my left hand with an extremely sharp knife! (I sharpened it myself two days ago) That is like horror! That is like the end of a beautiful relationship :)

I cannot play the guitar now!! It is only a minor scratch but under my skin it hurts… most probably some dirt might penetrated into the wound before I noticed it. I am sure it’ll take at least two more days to get it fixed. Sorry guys, and thanks for your patience too.

See you soon,

Alex

Hi!

After Bob Marley, I think it is time for moving on to a little bit more difficult song. For me it is a real challenge to get this freaking F chord right :)

Anyway, I am preparing my fingers for this masterpiece :) ))

(sort of a side-note my fingers still hurt, they cannot take more than 25 minutes… need more practie:))) )

Boys II Men – Water runs dry

C G Am G
We don't even talk any more

C G Am G
We don't even know what we argue about
C G Am G
Don't even say "I love you" no more
C G Am G
Saying how we feel is no longer aloud

Bridge:
F E
Some people work things out and
Am G D/F#
Some just don't know how to change

Chorus:
            F Em Dm
Let's don't wait till the water runs dry
         F Em Dm
We might watch our whole lives pass us by
            Am G F D/F#
Let's don't wait till the water runs dry
               Dm C G
We'll make the biggest mistake of our lives

                  C G Am G
Don't do it baby, ooh...

They can see the tears in our eyes
Cause we both have a pain that lies deep in our hearts
Well baby that's a pain we can hide
Cause everybody knows that we're both torn apart

Bridge2:

Why do we hurt eah other?
Why do we push love away?
Chorus

Hey there!

It surely has been a long time since I promised to post this song :) and finally, without further gilding the lilly, and with no more adus, Let’s see this unique work of art :) ) I hope you really like it. The next post is the Boys II Men – Water runs dry, because I can use almost the very same chords :) ))

Hopefully see you soon :) )

Cheers Alex :)

Hey there!

I just wanted to say hi to ya’ll cause I am in the final phase of practicing the song Bob Marley – No woman no cry. Meanwhile I noticed that this song uses the same 4 or 5 chords as the Boys II Men – Water runs dry. This is my alltime favourite R N B song ever! :)

So, here is the link to it, and hopefully soon I’ll be ready to play this song too.

As I go along at myguitar with practicing approx 10 minutes/day this new song (No woman no cry) I think I’ll be able to play it soon, couple of more days :) maybe the beginning of the next week? :) )) let’s see :) )

Take care and just chill :) )
